Ikorodu Bois – Inventive! Ingenious! Inspirational.

Ours words to describe the Nigerian creative group, known for remaking and mimicking recorded videos of celebrities and movie trailers by using their household items.

The Nigerian sensational group have been recognized on all social media platforms for recreating trailers and music videos of both local and international artists.

Three brothers and a cousin; Babatunde Sanni, Muiz Sanni, Malik Sanni & Fawas Aina with age 23, I5, 10 & 13 years old, respectively.

The artistic group of boys would use their household apparatus to shoot videos without thinking about how unpleasant it will look to the viewers. Their talent, hard work, and consistency has been a major force to where they are today.

They have inspired other kids like them to limitlessly showcase their talents regardless of how unattainable it may look like in the beginning

Their eldest brother who directs and edit their videos said in an interview that they have a fun-filled family and as therefore decided to showcase what they do for fun on social media.

Back in June 2020, the group shared their remake of the Netflix film Extraction, they told their followers to share and tag Chris Hemsworth who is one of the film’s lead actors.

A few hours later, Netflix retweeted the film saying, “LOVE THIS” and Chris Hemsworth also made a good remark of the video they shared by retweeting and quoting their tweet with the word “EPIC”.

This also got them an invite by the producer to join the movie’s premiere.

During an interview with CNN, the boys showed their excitement by saying “This is the day we’ve been waiting for all our lives,” the group replied. Their 23-year-old brother, Babatunde Sanni, who manages and edits the videos, said the trailer took them a month to make.

“Some days we shoot but end up re-shooting just because we wanted to do our best”. We are so happy people are getting to know us globally”, he added.

The talented boys received an amazing gift from Netflix recently with a delivery of high-tech cameras, Boom microphones, tripods, voice recorders and even an Apple iMac computer. The boys shared a video of how excited and happy they are to get such gifts from Netflix on their social media platform with a caption: “Guyssss!! @NetflixFilm sent us this presents omg! Thank you, guys, @NetflixFilm”.

Couple with other trailers they have worked on, The Ikorodu Bois has also recreated Netflix’s hit show “Money Heist”, Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us”, Burna Boy’s “Pull Up” and DaBaby and Roddy Ricch’s “Rockstar”.

They deserve our recognition for taking the lead in pushing towards excellence by combining hard work and creativity.

The NaijaSubway team wishes them a great future ahead.
