  • It is so disheartening. It was gathered that she was knocked down by an old friend while reversing her car to greet her inside the Air Force base. But the general populace still want to know more because the story is not convincing enough.

May her soul rest in peace.

    This is good to know.

Just that our history is not well documented and taught in schools. Christianity might have engendered it to be forgotten but the main cause is documentation. Even Christianity relies on documentation

If they have documented the tradition and history maybe it would have been preserved.

I really understand their pain but from my point of view I don’t think piracy can be totally eliminated from Nigeria because of the way the country is.  Corruption has engulfed Nigeria and no sector is impervious to its negative effect.

The best hope they have is in the government who don’t give a damn about the movie industry.

At this moment the solution lies outside the intervention of the government but within the industry itself.

    Hmm.

There are many angles to this issue. The populace don’t trust the government because most people know there are hidden agendas with this COVID-19

Both the citizens and the government are not totally ready.

Also people don’t want to be stigmatized by been declared Covid 19 positive. If a governor recovers from COVID-19 he is welcomed but the common man will be stigmatized by his fellow

I get your point but like I said with the way the country is piracy will still be rampant and not that it can’t be eliminated. Even in well organized countries eg USA has to rely on Netflix so people don’t have to pay for each movie. So, all you need to do is to subscribe. No movie industry is impervious to piracy.

Though we have IrokoTV but we are not there yet.

Loving one another is great but I think that synonymous to seeking an utopia which is practically impossible.

We need to create laws and policies to checkmate everyone and most importantly citizens should hold their governments accountable.

We have created society that glorifies mediocrity, praise lazy individuals and hail the oppressors.

The job security in government offices is too high as well making people getting paid for doing nothing.

We need law and justice rather than love. Love however is good
