When people say they are “Courting”, everyone around them make them feel like an “old school” (a.k.a ‘Spirikoko’) . why? aren’t they suppose to be the-same thing? what makes them so different?

    RoflRofl “spirikoko”

Well from what I have observed based on the way people express their relationship either as courtship or dating in Nigeria. I think courtship is like a transition from dating Relieved. Dating is when the relationship ain’t too serious but courting is when it’s tending towards marriage. These are not the real definition though but rather an observation and I guess that’s why courtship is more attached to the “spirikoko’s” sisters and brothers who only come together from the initial stage for marriage (The relationship must lead to marriage Smile). But in the real sense, there is no difference.
