I think Human Resources is Nigeria’s major export, a lot of people have lost hope in this country and sadly mostly youths, people just want to leave… I mean we have not done anything right.

Now our options are being limited by the day, very soon the places we will travel to for tourism are Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt. Sad!

@Samuel I disagree, I think anything can be eliminated in this country including piracy. See ehn… a time is coming when nation builders will hold all key positions in every sector, then, it will be uncomfortable for people with wrong or fraudulent intentions to stand our structures. Seems like a dream but we’ll get there.

I would think they should have done this during the lockdown, how can they open the economy to close a section of it eventually? I mean, we need to be proactive about critical decisions otherwise we keep cycling in the same position.

@lahkanmi, isn’t it obvious that the funds were looted from nation’s wealth? If those funds remained in the system and “used appropriately” for national growth and development I believe our country would be in a better position, but instead, he took it to develop other countries ?

First I wont call it giveaway, imagine if Abacha had invested the funds, developed the country’s industry and commerce: imagine how much wealth the country would have. The debts keeps rising because those funds don’t have the same rate as they used to be, our naira has fallen globally compare to other international currencies. Even with the recovered funds, we still feed the nation with debts. That’s why we’re still where we are. We need strong and intellectual interventions to come out of global debts then build a nation we are proud of.

Funny, I think this idea of public hearing is a real high opener hence why they are keeping that of EFCC private for over 30 days.
